Attic Stairs LWS, LWK are folding stairs, made from pine. They provide for a safe and easy access to the attic. The stairs can fold and “hide” into the ceiling, which saves the space in the attic. An esthetic-looking hatch-cover does not need additional care. The stairs are functional, long-life and comfortable and are easy to instal.
As a rule a thermo-insulating 36 mm-thick, wooden frame-like hatch, stiched on both sides with wood-fiber slate filled with foam plastic, is assembled.
- The outside of the hatch is smooth, no assembling elements are visible.
- A lock and a metal rod that are assembled into the stairs make closing the hatch very easy. The original stairs construction is accomplished in such a way that no useful space of the access to the attic is used.
- Assembling nooks allow for easy stairs assembling and their position adjustment.
- The stairs and strings combination is made to look like “swallow tale”, in order to prolong the stairs life. The stairs are placed at a certain distance from the hatch and are covered with incisions to avoid sliding, which adds to the comfort and safety of usage. The stairs are additionally equipped with hand-rail and fensing.
